I am not an expert on my own heritage, as my parents left the country (separately, they met in an university party in the late 80s in London oh dear) and refuse to go back for political reasons - so I’ve never been there. As far as I’m aware Persian is the official language, but there are different regional dialects with languages like Arabic, Kurdish, and Azeri also being used sometimes in print and stuff.
