Just because you do A-Levels does not mean that you are allowed to be superior and smug and condescending, making stupid remarks like ‘oh you think GCSEs are hard? wait until A-Levels you silly year elevens!’
A-Levels are obviously harder than GCSEs in terms of the complexity of the course and the workload, etc. - like duh, that’s the point of them, but that doesn’t mean that GCSEs aren’t difficult and horrible and life draining when you’re doing them, and if you don’t understand stuff at GCSE, you’ll struggle with A-Levels. It’s like saying ‘oh, you’re struggling to write the alphabet - wait until you have to do a phd on linguistics you silly nursery school child’ (perhaps not so exaggerated, but whatever). The point is that you couldn’t do the harder stuff, if you hadn’t learnt the basic foundations of the subject. What I am trying to say is essentially, don’t overlook how difficult something is for someone else when you’ve already gotten past it.
